Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MinTranscribe is run by Simple Metrics Ltd ("SimpleMetrics", "we"). This policy covers mintranscribe.com, the MinTranscribe API, and the MinTranscribe connector for ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps.

2. What we collect

• Your Google account email and account ID, when you sign in with Google. We do not get access to your Google Drive, Gmail or other Google data.
• The audio and video you send us: uploaded files, files at links you give us, and YouTube links.
• The transcripts, subtitles and other text we make from them.
• Your account: your plan, minutes used, API key names, which apps you have connected, and a list of your transcriptions with file names and lengths.
• Billing: if you pay, Stripe handles your card. We keep a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription, never your full card number.
• Service logs: request times, errors and your email, to run usage limits and fix problems.

3. How we use it

• Your audio is sent to AI service providers to make the transcript. They do not use it to train their models.
• Your email is used to run your account and plan, and to send important product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. What we store

• We keep your audio files and transcripts so you can get your results again later.
• We store API keys and app sign-ins only as scrambled codes, so we cannot read them back.
• Transcription runs in the United States, and stored data is encrypted.

5. AI apps you connect

• When you connect MinTranscribe to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI app, that app sends us your audio and receives your transcript. What the app keeps is covered by its own privacy policy.
• To disconnect an AI app, remove MinTranscribe in that app's settings. You can revoke API keys on your account page.

6. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run our service, make transcripts and process payments.

7. Google sign-in

MinTranscribe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Your rights

To access, correct or delete your data, email support@simplemetrics.xyz from the email you signed in with. If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
